About the role#
The Plexus Groupe is seeking a Marketing Intern for our summer program in Deer Park, Illinois. You will collaborate on internal and client-facing projects, gaining experience in the insurance brokerage and risk management industry. This full-time, paid position runs from June 1st to July 30th, 2027. Interns may be nominated for a scholarship award through the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.
What you'll do#
- Create content for internal and external communications.
- Design graphics, presentations, and sales materials.
- Assist with social media strategy, scheduling, and content production.
- Support email campaigns, blogs, and newsletters.
- Help plan and promote company events.
- Contribute to video, web, and multimedia projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing as of Fall 2027 with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Creative skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with or interest in CMS and CRM tools like WordPress or HubSpot.
- Bonus points for video production experience or prior marketing work.

- Location: Deer Park, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1st to July 30th).
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
