About the role#
As a member of the Communications and Audience Strategy team, the Fellow supports the production of video and digital content across the institution’s website, social media, email, digital visitor guide, and archive. This position offers hands-on training within a contemporary art institution, providing insight into how programs are developed and audiences are engaged. The fellowship term is six months, with the possibility of extending to a full year.
What you'll do#
- Produce video, audio, and photography for exhibitions, performances, and public programs.
- Record live interviews and organize video footage.
- Edit content and manage the implementation of title cards.
- Liaise with transcription and captioning vendors.
- Photograph in-person events and gather image assets and credits.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of experience in video editing, social media content production, videography, or photography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by museum programming.
- Background in or interest in contemporary art and performance.

- Location: Long Island City, New York.
- Modality: On-site, three to four days per week.
- Status: Paid, part-time.
