About the role#
As an Instructional Assistant with Student Transportation, you will support classroom instructors and help students throughout the school day. You will also manage a daily transportation route using a school van. This is a full-time position based in Phoenix, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Manage classroom behaviors and assist with instruction.
- Drive students to and from school in a company van.
- Provide general supervision for students across the school.
- Report behavioral concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Respond to emergency situations as they arise.
- Implement behavioral program policies and maintain classroom safety.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 23 years of age.
- A good driving record and the ability to operate a school van.
- Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, Youth Worker, Mental Healthcare Technician, or ABA Technician is helpful.
- A Bachelor's degree or Substitute Teacher Certification is preferred.
- Ability to work with high-risk students who have special needs.
