About the role#
As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will work with Project Managers and Project Engineers to support the successful completion of construction activities. You will join a specific project team and gain experience across various stages of an active construction project. While this role is based in the office, you will travel to construction sites to observe progress and see how plans become reality.
What you'll do#
- Visit construction sites to track project progress and manage challenges.
- Support the team with subcontractor coordination, material tracking, file management, and document control.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
- Become proficient in Procore to assist with daily observation reports, drawing sets, submittals, and punch lists.
- Assist with bid analysis, schedule and scope reviews, and contract drafting.
- Generate project reports for the site team and subcontractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while remaining detail-oriented.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and relentless problem-solving skills.
- Experience with marketing, public speaking, and presentations is preferred.
