About the role#
This internship offers the chance to contribute to crewed vehicle development at The Exploration Company. You will work on real engineering projects and deliverables while receiving guidance from a mentor. The role involves applying your academic coursework to solve technical problems and supporting the development of aerospace technology.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and improve products, systems, or processes.
- Develop, test, debug, and document technical solutions, tools, or prototypes.
- Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support engineering decisions.
- Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least three months of relevant engineering experience from internships, co-op programs, or industry projects.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 12 weeks starting in May 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
