About the role#
As a Software Intern for the Summer 2027 program, you will work on crewed vehicle development. You will contribute to real-world engineering projects and deliverables under the guidance of a mentor. This role involves applying your engineering coursework to solve technical problems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and improve products, systems, or processes.
- Develop, test, debug, and document technical solutions, tools, or prototypes.
- Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support engineering decisions.
- Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Three months or more of relevant engineering experience through internships, co-op programs, or industry projects.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 12 weeks starting in May 2027.
- Paid internship with sponsorship available.
- Note: Housing and relocation are not provided.
