About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with projects that apply your academic studies to real-world manufacturing technology. You will collect and analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the design of processes or equipment. This is a paid, part-time position designed to give you insight into engineering work within the battery industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Material Process Development Engineers on the improvement and qualification of new initiatives.
- Create and maintain process and instrumentation diagram documentation.
- Work safely within a manufacturing facility following required safety training.
- Provide regular progress updates on your assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- An overall GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Ability to learn safety and application software procedures.
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to use data to solve problems.
- Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work well in a team environment.
