About the role#
As a Financial Risk & Governance Intern, you will gain exposure to the methods used to identify, measure, and monitor market and liquidity risks. You will support the team across risk monitoring, reporting, and governance activities to build a practical understanding of how DTCC manages risk for clearing agencies and financial markets. This is a 10-week summer experience that includes training, mentorship, and project work.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day risk monitoring activities, including margin requirements and collateral needs.
- Assist with the analysis of member activity and trading patterns to identify emerging risks.
- Prepare, review, and enhance documentation and reporting materials.
- Collaborate with the Quantitative Risk Management and Counterparty Credit Risk teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Expected graduation date of Spring 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
