About the role#
As a Regulatory AML Compliance Intern, you will join the Group Compliance function. This role provides exposure to various business lines within banking services in Canada and across the globe. You will engage with activities such as compliance monitoring, regulatory change management, financial crime compliance, and the development of internal policies and training.
What you'll do#
- Provide support and assistance to members of the Group Compliance team.
- Help the business maintain a strong compliance culture.
- Assist with the Regulatory Change Management process.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the execution of compliance monitoring based on annual plans.
- Assist with regulatory queries.
What you'll need#
- Current university student or recent graduate in a relevant field such as Law, Regulatory Compliance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task with a focus on detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- An active interest in legal or regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work in a team.
- An inquisitive nature.

- Compensation: Paid at CAD $20 per hour.
