About the role#
We are hiring Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site. You will work directly with our construction staff, including Project Managers and Superintendents, to support heavy civil construction projects. This role lasts 10 to 12 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to construction staff.
- Coordinate project activities under the guidance of a Project Manager or Superintendent.
- Perform project accounting and scheduling tasks.
- Assist with the development of work plans and track material quantities.
- Help with construction layout and monitor work quality.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a construction-related field.
- You should have completed at least your sophomore year of college.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of geometry and basic algebra.
- Reliable personal transportation.
Location & details#
This role is on-site at various locations in Virginia and North Carolina, including Richmond, Farmville, Charlottesville, Hickory, Cornelius, and Cary.
