About the role#
The Specialty Summer Internship is an 8-week program designed for rising college seniors. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate risk management and insurance. The program runs from June 7, 2027, to July 30, 2027. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Learn risk management within a specific specialty line.
- Conduct risk analysis and review contract language.
- Develop corporate communication skills.
- Collaborate with clients, markets, and other insurance professionals.
- Participate in intern events to build business acumen.
- Conduct research and perform data analysis.
- Work on special client-focused projects.
- Engage in a start-to-finish client prospecting effort.
- Deliver client solutions presentations.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication, networking, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- A long-term interest in a career in insurance.
- Prior working experience is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to change and learn in a new environment.
