About the role#
As an intern at Textron, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects alongside experienced professionals. This role provides an opportunity to build new skills and contribute to the team while exploring your professional interests.
What you'll do#
You will support the Information Technology team with ongoing and new projects. This may involve working with the IT Business Partner, IT Infrastructure Analyst, IT Development, or IT Cyber Security teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting research, documentation, development, and coordination for assigned projects.
- Following project management guidelines and change management strategies to improve user experience.
- Developing and maintaining physical infrastructure, enterprise applications, virtualized environments, and automation scripts.
- Identifying tasks suitable for process automation and working across teams to implement solutions.
- Sharing knowledge, participating in meetings, and supporting business goals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field.
- You have a strong interest in Information Technology.
- You are resourceful, a problem-solver, and capable of handling ambiguity.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are action-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
- You have basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- You do not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.
