This is a paid, full-time student technician position working with the Breeding for Controlled Environments research team. This role supports daily research program activities and requires a commitment to both independent work and team collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Sow seeds and perform plant harvesting, extraction, and crossing.
- Assist in sampling and processing samples for laboratory analysis.
- Collect and record experimental research data.
- Carry out additional research duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant field such as Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Practical experience with seed sowing, extraction, and plant harvesting.
- Ability to accurately take and record experimental data.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
