About the role#
Telesat is seeking a Business Development Intern to join the US Government Solutions team in Arlington, VA. This position provides hands-on experience within the satellite industry, supporting the team on various projects and initiatives while contributing to real-world challenges.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research tasks, including gathering and analyzing data.
- Support the Business Development team in organizing and executing project plans.
- Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and organizing documentation.
- Utilize software tools to facilitate project work and team communication.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm ideas and contribute to project development.
- Stay informed on industry trends to provide fresh perspectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
