About the role#
This is a full-time, 8-month co-op position based on-site at the Highland Valley Copper operation in Logan Lake, British Columbia. You will work directly with engineering teams to support the reliability and maintenance functions of a large open-pit copper and molybdenum mine.
What you'll do#
- Assist with reliability analysis to optimize equipment performance.
- Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
- Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Participate in regular safety and operational meetings.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams on site.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Industrial Engineering program.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with technical software.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with mining processes.
