About the role#
This Business Analyst Internship offers hands-on experience in fleet management, operations, and enterprise asset management. You will work with a team supporting base operations and range maintenance programs. This role requires you to work remotely when not traveling, with a requirement to travel to project sites nationwide 50-70% of the time.
What you'll do#
- Lead efforts to achieve 100% accurate vehicle and heavy equipment inventory across project sites.
- Travel to sites to assess vehicle maintenance practices, including scheduling and repair processes.
- Analyze vehicle and maintenance data to find trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement standardized maintenance plans and record-keeping systems.
- Set up, monitor, and support GPS tracking devices on program vehicles.
- Assist with the implementation of new enterprise asset management software, including data validation and testing.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct research to identify operational efficiencies.
- Create and maintain documentation for business processes and fleet information.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets to communicate findings to leadership.
- Collaborate with site personnel and cross-functional teams to support project execution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collect, organize, and present data effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across multiple locations.
- Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time to project sites nationwide.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel by air and vehicle as needed.
- Interest in operations, fleet management, process improvement, or technology solutions.
