About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on training experience. It provides a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work closely with managers and team members to understand retail operations and develop leadership skills. This program is designed to prepare you for future store leadership positions.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the salesfloor and in the backroom leading team members.
- Work alongside an Executive Team Lead mentor to gain insight into their responsibilities.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and assist guests with their needs.
- Lead and present at daily huddles with your team.
- Provide a summary of results and priorities to leadership.
- Partner with leaders to coach team members and provide performance feedback.
- Plan daily goals and organize operational tasks within the store.
- Review business reports and guest insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Effective communication skills.
- The ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Capability to climb ladders and operate handheld scanners or other store technology.

- Compensation: $24.50 - $25.50 per hour.
- Majors: Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
