About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, 40-hour per week hands-on training experience. You will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role over the course of the summer. This program introduces you to multiple areas of store operations while you work alongside mentors and team members to understand how the business functions. You will spend your time leading on the salesfloor and in the backroom, identifying priorities, and delivering guest service.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support daily operations by working directly with team members.
- Drive guest experience and impact store financial, team, and operational performance.
- Partner with leaders to teach, coach, and provide feedback on team member performance.
- Plan daily goals and organize tasks within the building.
- Spend time on the salesfloor and in the backroom to align the team on business priorities.
- Address team member concerns and remove hurdles to ensure smooth operations.
- Review business reports and guest insights to troubleshoot and follow up on opportunities.
- Handle cash register operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.

- The ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and access all areas of the store.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or Supply Chain Management.
Location & details#
- This internship takes place during Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site at locations in Orlando, Winter Garden, and Oviedo, Florida.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation is $24.50 - $25.50 per hour.
