About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, 40-hour per week internship program designed to prepare you for store leadership. As a Store Executive Intern, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work alongside mentors and store managers to understand retail business operations while leading teams and driving store priorities.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate a team while driving sales results and store performance.
- Manage daily operations including stocking, merchandising, and guest service.
- Partner with leaders to provide teaching, coaching, and feedback regarding team member performance.
- Recruit, select, and manage talent for hourly team members and leaders.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot areas for improvement.
- Engage with guests to provide an exceptional experience and solve their needs.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in retail management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
- Ability to learn and adapt to technology needs.
- Capability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage workload and prioritize tasks.

- Locations: This role is available in Algonquin, Lake Zurich, Rockford, Crystal Lake, Gurnee, Machesney Park, and Waukegan, Illinois, as well as Pleasant Prairie, Lake Geneva, Franklin, Oak Creek, and Racine, Wisconsin.
- Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
