About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our regional distribution center. The program provides a hands-on preview of life as an Operations Manager. You will work alongside mentors and other managers to learn how our supply chain functions. You will have the opportunity to lead a department and gain experience in inbound, outbound, and warehousing operations.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the facilities floor helping to lead team members and align on daily business priorities.
- Maintain high standards for quality and inventory accuracy by standardizing processes.
- Carry out process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Gemba.
- Recruit and mentor team members to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
- Conduct safety walks throughout the building to identify, resolve, and report findings.
What you'll need#
- Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles.
- A strong interest in working in retail, specifically within supply chain facilities.
- Problem-solving skills and strong initiative.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Team-oriented thinking with an enthusiasm for continuous learning.
