About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in professional sports operations. You will work behind the scenes at the team training facility and Riverfront Stadium to support the daily logistics that keep the organization running. This role is suitable for students pursuing careers in sports management, event logistics, or facility operations.
What you'll do#
- Support daily administrative tasks and facility operations.
- Assist with upkeep including field maintenance, painting, and preventative maintenance.
- Help with small-scale facility improvement projects.
- Execute matchday operations, including pre-game setup, in-game troubleshooting, and post-match breakdown.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a professional experience for fans and players.
- Participate in cross-department coordination for community activations, special events, and large matchdays.
- Assist with long-term projects to optimize facility workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Sports Management, Business, or Event Management.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and special events.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team-first mindset and a positive, professional attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- An interest in professional sports operations.
