About the role#
Pleasanton RAGE is seeking interns for the 2027 USL season. This role supports the Game Day Operations team in coordination with the USL W League Head Coach. Positions are unpaid and involve less than 20 hours per week, depending on college course credit requirements. Schedules are set at the start of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support pre-match setup, including field preparation, signage placement, and equipment organization.
- Coordinate with team staff, referees, and volunteers to ensure schedules and protocols are followed.
- Monitor and address operational issues during matches.
- Oversee post-match breakdown and storage of equipment and supplies.
- Help organize and clean equipment, including team uniforms and match gear.
- Collaborate with the operations team to document and evaluate matchday procedures for future improvements.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Access to a mobile phone for communication.
- Passion for soccer and a basic understanding of the sport.
- Availability to attend the majority of home matches, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods in varying weather conditions.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with staff, players, coaches, and fans.
- Reliable transportation at your own expense.
