About the role#
The Sales & Client Engagement Internship provides an in-depth look at client-facing roles within our Global Distribution team. You will participate in a formal orientation, receive peer and senior mentor assignments, and access various learning opportunities. The program includes an executive speaker series, networking events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups to help you understand our business strategies and market insights.
What you'll do#
Your specific responsibilities depend on your placement within our business units:
- U.S. Intermediaries: Conduct market research and competitive analysis, develop fund pitches, and create sales materials to support advisor relationships.
- Institutional Distribution: Analyze proprietary and industry data to develop client insights, create reports, and support projects that drive business development.
- Individual Investors: Complete intensive training before gaining direct client exposure in a non-licensed service role. You will also rotate into our Advice business to learn how advisors support client financial goals.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May/June 2029.
- All majors are welcome to apply, including Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, and Political Science.
- You possess strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- You have a genuine interest in investing and following the markets.
- You demonstrate a growth mindset and a commitment to learning AI-augmented platforms.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, as is a stated interest in a sales or client management career path.
- You must have current work authorization that does not require future sponsorship.

- Locations: Baltimore, MD; Owings Mills, MD; and Colorado Springs, CO.
- Modality: This is a full-time, hybrid position with up to one day per week from home.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship eligible for overtime pay.
- Term: Rolling.
