About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program designed to provide real-world experience in warehouse operations. You will work on projects that support our business while gaining professional skills and mentorship from industry experts. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Complete a meaningful project that supports and drives our business operations.
- Work with and receive mentorship from industry professionals.
- Participate in training sessions to build your knowledge and expertise.
- Receive performance feedback throughout the program.
- Engage in planned social and networking activities with other professionals.
- Handle competing priorities and manage multiple assignments in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with a concentration in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7.
- Rising seniors majoring in supply chain are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, reason critically, and synthesize information.
- Personal traits including integrity, accountability, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

This internship is located on-site at various Sysco facilities, including Allentown, VA; Charlotte, NC; Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; Harrisonburg, VA; Knoxville, TN; Las Vegas, NV; Modesto, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Palmetto, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR; Raleigh, NC; Riverside, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA; Suffolk, VA; and Ventura, CA. The program takes place during Summer 2027.
