About the role#
The Social Media Intern supports our marketing and clinical operations teams. You will manage, create, and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to help increase patient engagement and awareness of our practice. This is a part-time, paid position that requires a minimum of 12-14 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain a regular social media schedule.
- Plan and capture video content at our medical offices using a smartphone.
- Create videos, graphics, and captions based on a content calendar.
- Write weekly posts to boost brand awareness and engagement metrics.
- Respond to comments and direct messages to engage with our followers.
- Brainstorm campaign ideas with the team.
- Analyze engagement metrics to report on performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and social media best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Familiarity with major platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and creative mindset.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud and scheduling tools like Meta or Hootsuite is a plus.
