About the role#
STV is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Oklahoma City. You will work alongside our experienced team to support project goals and gain hands-on experience in the field. We expect interns to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of civil engineering projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project needs.
- Support feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
- Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
- Use software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to contribute to engineering designs.
- Learn and apply current engineering standards to your daily work.
- Help prepare technical proposals and documentation.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
- Knowledge of software including MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Open Roads Designer.
