About the role#
This internship is part of our Project Engineer Career Development program. You will work with the VSL Denver team to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. The role focuses on field learning and requires significant travel to various job sites.
What you'll do#
- Track project schedules and production rates
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation
- Manage project costs
- Oversee safety protocols and quality control
- Support business development and client relations
- Coordinate field resources
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to document work and stay organized
- Aptitude for solving problems
- Reliable transportation to travel between the office and job sites
