About the role#
STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES offers a Project Engineer Internship for Summer 2027. This role is part of our Project Engineer Career Development program, which focuses on in-field learning and project management experience. You will work with our VSL DC team, which specializes in post-tensioning solutions, parking structure repair, and heavy civil bridge work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project scheduling and tracking production rates.
- Support estimating tasks and prepare project budgets.
- Help manage project cost control.
- Contribute to safety management and quality control processes.
- Assist with business development, client relations, and managing field resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- A reliable method of transportation to travel from the office to various jobsites.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Manassas, Virginia.
- The position is on-site and requires extensive travel to project sites.
- We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
