Procurement Intern

About the role#

The Procurement Intern will support the development of a company-wide vendor management program at Strata Clean Energy. This role focuses on establishing processes to ensure vendors meet quality, compliance, and performance standards, offering hands-on experience in supply chain, operations, and risk management.

What you'll do#

• Support the development of a structured vendor management program across multiple business units.
• Assist in creating vendor evaluation and onboarding criteria.
• Build processes for vendor compliance, risk management, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define workflows.
• Develop templates and documentation for vendor onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
• Conduct research on industry best practices in vendor management.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A demonstrated interest in renewable energy and sustainability.

• Location: Durham, North Carolina (On-site at Strata Headquarters).
• Term: Summer 2026 (8-week program).
• Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
