About the role#
The Procurement Intern will support the development of a company-wide vendor management program at Strata Clean Energy. This role focuses on establishing processes to ensure vendors meet quality, compliance, and performance standards, offering hands-on experience in supply chain, operations, and risk management.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a structured vendor management program across multiple business units.
- Assist in creating vendor evaluation and onboarding criteria.
- Build processes for vendor compliance, risk management, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define workflows.
- Develop templates and documentation for vendor onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
- Conduct research on industry best practices in vendor management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A demonstrated interest in renewable energy and sustainability.

- Location: Durham, North Carolina (On-site at Strata Headquarters).
- Term: Summer 2026 (8-week program).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
