About the role#
Stinson LLP offers law students the chance to experience the daily life of an Associate attorney. This position covers two summers, beginning with a 1L Summer Associate term in 2027 and continuing with a 2L Summer Associate term in 2028. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Clayton, Missouri.
What you'll do#
- Work on meaningful legal assignments.
- Learn from mentors and other seasoned attorneys.
- Participate in activities and social events to build connections within the firm and the broader legal community.
What you'll need#
- You must be a 1L student.
- A strong academic record across your undergraduate, graduate, and law school studies.
- Effective legal writing skills along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of community involvement and previous work experience.
- An interest in practice areas that align with the firm.
- A commitment to practicing law in the St. Louis area.

- Compensation: $3,846 per week.
