About the role#
The Business Solutions Office is looking for an intern to support organizational transformation, strategic planning, and project delivery. You will work on business analysis and change management efforts across the agency, gaining experience in how government agencies plan and implement change.
What you'll do#
- Support business process improvement efforts.
- Assist with project planning, documentation, and reporting tasks.
- Contribute to change management strategies and communication plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agency-wide initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college, university, or technical school, or graduation within the last six months.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours (or 30 credit hours for technical school students).
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset.
Location & details#
- Location: Helena, Montana.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 to 12 weeks).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Modality: Hybrid or on-site options available.
- Compensation: Paid internship with rates based on completed credit hours, ranging from $20.50 to $22.25 per hour.
