About the role#
This internship provides exposure to private equity and venture capital through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will work during the summer of 2027 to provide financial and administrative support to Associates and Fund Controllers. You will gain experience with the technology our clients use for reporting by assisting with data entry and systems conversion projects.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client information into our recordkeeping system.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Assist audit and tax teams with their work.
- Prepare financial statement support schedules.
- Help teams with systems conversions.
- Analyze reports and client documents to find and fix discrepancies.
- Complete special projects as assigned by Associates and Fund Controllers.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
