About the role#
This internship offers exposure to private equity and venture capital through fund administration and partnership accounting. You will work directly with Associates and Fund Controllers to provide financial and administrative support. This role is for the Summer 2027 term and is based on-site in Boston.
What you'll do#
- Enter financial and client information into the recordkeeping system.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Support audit and tax teams with their projects.
- Help teams with systems conversions.
- Analyze reports and client documents to identify and fix discrepancies.
- Assist Associates and Fund Controllers with daily financial and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
