About the role#
The Community Relations Intern supports the department through daily administrative tasks, logistics, and hands-on outreach. You will assist with inventory management, donation requests, and event coordination to help the team connect with the local community.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Community Relations team.
- Track and manage memorabilia and department inventory.
- Coordinate and fulfill donation requests.
- Handle general office tasks including scheduling, writing response letters, and supporting outreach events.
- Attend and assist at community events, which often occur during nights and weekends across various locations.
- Assist with diverse tasks, from preparing presentations to loading vehicles for event setup.
- Maintain an inclusive, community-centered mindset in all programs and events.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Availability to work between 20 and 30 hours per week.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
- Capacity to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A desire to gain hands-on experience in a team-oriented environment.

- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- You must be located in St. Louis for the duration of the internship.
- This is a paid, on-site, part-time position with a rolling term.
