About the role#
The Sphere Product Development (AED) Student Associate Program offers undergraduate students the chance to gain professional experience in Bozeman, Montana. This program runs from Fall 2026 through Winter 2027. You will work under the close supervision of an engineer to support project tasks and develop your technical skills. This is a paid, on-site position requiring 21 to 35 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Support project tasks under the direct supervision of an engineer and project Lead.
- Perform basic test procedures and troubleshooting on electronic assemblies using standard electronic instruments.
- Help identify components from a Bill of Materials and work with CAD library components.
- Participate in an executive speaker series, mentorship program, and career development workshops.
- Provide professional service to guests, partners, and team members while on-site.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student for Fall 2026.
- A GPA of 3.7 or above.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 1 to 2 years of major coursework completed.
- Foundational circuit design skills and familiarity with circuit schematics.
- Experience with basic electronic testing instruments.
- Ability to work on-site in Bozeman, Montana, between October 2026 and April 2027.
