About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Columbia, South Carolina. You will work on-site to support the Brokerage department with daily operations and various administrative projects. This position follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Enter daily supplemental data into the Agency system.
- Contribute to ongoing automation efforts for supplemental procedures.
- Work on projects involving the intranet, Agency contracts, and comparisons of coverage lines or carriers.
- Assist with mail processing and record retention tasks.
- Support projects within the Underwriting, Marketing, and Training departments.
- Engage with the Actuary department as opportunities arise.
- Complete special assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, technical school, trade school, vocational program, or registered apprenticeship.
- A commitment to continuing education or career training.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
