About the role#
As a Finance Intern, you will join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at our headquarters in Broadview Heights, Ohio. This 10-week summer program provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis. You will work 40 hours per week, gaining exposure to various finance and accounting functions while building professional relationships across the company.
What you'll do#
- Support the FP&A team with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Gather, organize, and analyze operational and financial data.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses to identify business trends and risks.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to support key initiatives.
- Assist with month-end processes and budget preparation.
- Attend training sessions and lunch-and-learns to deepen your business knowledge.
- Complete a capstone project and present your findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Contribute ideas during team meetings and support process improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A dependable nature and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
