About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will work with our team to support daily accounting activities, month-end close, and various projects. This role provides hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you can apply your classroom knowledge to real business operations. You will spend 10 weeks working 40 hours per week as part of our summer program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of financial data.
- Gather and organize financial information while maintaining high accuracy.
- Review and document accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with finance and other business functions to support department goals.
- Share ideas and insights during team meetings.
- Participate in internship training sessions and lunch and learns.
- Complete a capstone project and present your findings to leadership at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Accounting or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A dependable nature and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
- The ability to work in a hybrid setting.
