About the role#
As a Software Product Management Intern, you will join our team for an 11-week program to help build the Sonos ecosystem. You will work on cross-functional teams to design features, manage backlogs, and solve real customer problems. This role is a full-time, paid internship based in Seattle.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and deliver product features.
- Conduct customer research, synthesize user feedback, and perform basic data analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist in drafting user stories, functional requirements, and product specifications.
- Manage and prioritize a feature backlog with guidance from a Senior Product Manager.
- Use AI tools to speed up research synthesis, data analysis, and spec drafting.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer opportunities within the Sonos product line.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of Winter 2027/2028 or Spring 2028/2029.
- Ability to work from our Seattle office at least 4 days per week from June 7 to August 20, 2027.
- Authorization to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
- Practical experience with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.
- Exposure to SQL or Snowflake is a plus.
- Coursework or projects related to marketing, consumer behavior, or research methods.
- A clear communication style and a collaborative, low-ego approach to teamwork.
- A genuine interest in music and audio technology.

- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to August 20).
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Requirements: Minimum 4 days per week in the office.
