About the role#
We are looking for a Fragrance Product Development Intern to join our team in New York. You will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Fragrance Product Development to gain hands-on experience with the end-to-end development process. This role covers our full portfolio, including perfume mists, body care, and hair products.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with the end-to-end product development process, including sample organization, technical transfers, and launch preparation.
- Support fragrance evaluations by documenting and organizing scent assessments, olfactive notes, and feedback.
- Monitor and summarize emerging fragrance trends, technologies, ingredients, and best practices.
- Coordinate across internal departments like Packaging, Marketing, Creative, and Supply Chain.
- Maintain development trackers and project documents to ensure milestones stay on schedule.
- Manage fragrance house submissions and contract manufacturer samples.
- Prepare meeting agendas, organize development files, and assemble presentation materials.
- Maintain an organized sample library and keep the development workspace orderly.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work on-site at our New York office.
