About the role#
Soccer Shots Harrisburg hires coaches to work with children ages 2-8. This part-time role offers a schedule that fits around your classes at Messiah University. You will help children learn the game of soccer while gaining experience in leadership and communication. We offer paid training, so you do not need previous soccer experience to join the team.
What you'll do#
- Introduce soccer to children ages 2-8.
- Follow established session plans and procedures.
- Create a fun and positive environment for every child.
- Represent Soccer Shots in a professional manner.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- A genuine interest in working with children.
- You are safety-focused, attentive, and detail-oriented.
- You are caring, encouraging, and high-energy.
- You are organized, reliable, and professional.
- Students in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration are welcome to apply.
Location & details#
- Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, under 15 hours per week with rolling start dates.
- Internships for academic credit are available.
