About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for an intern to work with children ages 2 to 8. You will serve as an energetic coach while also supporting behind-the-scenes projects. This position offers a mix of active coaching sessions and office-based tasks. You will have the opportunity to shadow management and develop your leadership skills.
What you'll do#
- Conduct soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8 using our expert-created curriculum.
- Bring Soccer Island alive for kids with enthusiasm and creativity.
- Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
- Build local engagement through sports.
- Develop quality social media content and assist with other projects based on your interests.
- Communicate clearly with families, staff, and teachers.
- Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
- Engage in management shadowing and leadership development.
What you'll need#
- A genuine passion for children and sports.
- To be energetic, engaging, responsible, and safety conscious.
- A High School Diploma.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- No prior sports or coaching experience is required.
