About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for an intern to work with children ages 2 to 8. This role combines coaching on the field with behind-the-scenes administrative work. You will help build local engagement while gaining hands-on experience in sports management and leadership. The position is paid and offers a flexible schedule based on your availability.
What you'll do#
- Conduct soccer sessions for children using the Soccer Shots curriculum.
- Bring Soccer Island to life for kids with enthusiasm and creativity.
- Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
- Develop social media content.
- Engage in management shadowing and leadership development.
- Communicate with families, staff, and teachers.
- Follow on-site safety and attendance protocols.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Genuine interest in children and sports.
- Energetic, responsible, and safety-conscious approach.
- Reliable transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- No prior coaching or sports experience is required, as we provide training.

- Location: Richmond, VA.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18 per 30-40 minute session.
- Schedule: Rolling term with part-time hours available Monday through Saturday.
