About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for an intern to join our team in Charlottesville. This role combines on-field coaching with behind the scenes management tasks. You will work with children ages 2 to 8 to build confidence and character through sports. This is a paid position that offers management shadowing and leadership development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Lead soccer sessions for children using our established curriculum.
- Bring energy and creativity to every session to make the experience fun for kids.
- Support character development by modeling positive behavior.
- Create social media content to share our program with the community.
- Help with local engagement efforts.
- Follow safety and attendance protocols at all times.
- Maintain clear communication with families, teachers, and staff.
- Shadow management team members to learn about sports operations.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Genuine interest in working with children and sports.
- Ability to be energetic, engaging, and responsible.
- Strong focus on safety.
- Basic management skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or Psychology are relevant but not required.
- No prior coaching experience is necessary, as we provide training.

- Compensation: Paid at $18 per session, plus additional rewards and bonuses.
