About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for an intern to join our team in Chattanooga. You will work with children ages 2 to 8 and gain experience in the operations of a growing business. This role offers exposure to sales, marketing, and staff management. We are looking for someone who can commit to working with us through 2026 to experience the full cycle of our seasonal business. You can expect to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Lead soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8, including setting up and taking down fields.
- Assist with sales and development initiatives.
- Design and implement marketing plans.
- Learn how to hire, evaluate, and train staff.
- Help launch our new registration system.
- Coordinate seasonal preparation and execution across 45 schools and 5 parks.
- Represent the company at events and programs.
- Provide customer service to families and schools.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in working with children and sports.
- An energetic and responsible approach to coaching.
- A focus on safety.
- The ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2 to 8.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- The physical ability to stand, jog, and model soccer skills.
- You must have or be able to obtain state-required clearances.
- No prior sports or coaching experience is required.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.

- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. Coaching sessions are paid per session, and administrative tasks are paid at an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour.
