About the role#
This is a paid internship for students running from January 2027 through mid-August 2027. You will join the Data Foundations team, which manages data from the raw source to the final product. We are looking for someone to help us research, validate, and structure location data.
What you'll do#
- Research, identify, and onboard new data sources.
- Profile and validate data to ensure quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Enrich and certify data for our products.
- Manage data vendors, including vetting new providers and tracking license obligations.
- Build and maintain data pipelines while using scripts to automate tasks.
- Work with product managers to define requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver functional data.
- Participate in company cultural training initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience working with data.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Ability to turn large, messy datasets into clean, structured formats.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Orem, Utah.
- The term covers Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
