About the role#
KUTV is seeking interns for the Spring 2027 semester to support the production department. You will shadow the studio crew during live news and sports broadcasts to gain hands-on experience in a broadcast environment.
What you'll do#
- Operate a teleprompter, robotic cameras, and a Stream Deck.
- Assist with floor directing.
- Handle shoulder ENG cameras.
- Operate an audio mixer.
- Keep the production studio and control room organized.
- Assist with other production tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be eligible to earn internship credit through your college program.
- A relevant college degree is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly when under pressure.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Physical ability to lift 25 pounds.
