About the role#
Landrum & Brown is looking for an intern to join our Chicago team. This role supports project managers on airport planning and development projects. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with client goals and project delivery. We offer flexible start dates in January or May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with clients on airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental or sustainability planning.
- Help organize community relations efforts and public meetings.
- Build and maintain electronic data sets while performing data analysis.
- Create draft reports, presentations, schedules, and meeting materials.
- Provide technical assistance and respond to requests for information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- An interest in the aviation industry and airport operations.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- This is a paid internship with a compensation range of $20 to $30 per hour.
- The role is full-time.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship.
