About the role#
As a Social Content Studio Co-op, you will join the production team responsible for Shark Home, Shark Beauty, and Ninja social content. You will work daily alongside studio managers to support projects from concept through the final cut. This is a hands-on role designed for those looking to build professional production experience in a high-volume social content environment.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day production across the Social Content Studio and assist on active projects.
- Assist with filming social-first video content, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup.
- Edit short-form video content using Capcut.
- Support photo editing and content design tasks through Canva.
- Occasionally act as on-camera talent when a shoot requires it.
- Stay current on social video trends, formats, and editing techniques to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, or currently enrolled in a master's program.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in video filming, editing, or production.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shoots, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to take direction from and collaborate effectively with multiple team members.
- Creative eye for social-first storytelling and an understanding of current platform trends.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026 (August to December).
- Location: On-site at the Social Content Studio in Irvine, California.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
