About the role#
As a Social Content Creator & On-Camera Talent Intern, you will serve as the face and voice of our social channels. This role combines performance and production, requiring you to star in content across three social channels while also shooting and editing your own work. You will work within a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule for the Fall 2026 term from August to December.
What you'll do#
- Serve as recurring on-camera talent across three social media channels.
- Initiate conversations with the public to capture organic, person-on-the-street style content.
- Pitch and develop creative content concepts that stand out in a feed.
- Shoot and edit short-form video content from concept to final cut.
- Collaborate with the social team to brainstorm concepts, storylines, and formats.
- Adapt your tone and delivery to fit the personality of each channel.
- Apply marketing principles to inform content decisions and track performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program (third year or beyond) or a master's program.
- Academic background in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Graphic Design, or Psychology.
- Genuine comfort and a natural presence on camera.
- Hands-on experience creating and editing short-form video content, such as Reels, TikTok, or Shorts.
- A working understanding of social media and marketing fundamentals, including audience engagement and brand voice.
- Ability to initiate friendly conversations with strangers to capture content.
- Proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced content environments.
