As a Social Sharks Community Manager Co-op, you will serve as the primary liaison between the brand and our community of customers, followers, and enthusiasts. You will be responsible for nurturing relationships, facilitating discussions, and fostering a positive environment within our online communities. This role is part of the Early Edge Experience program, designed to provide early-career talent with exposure to the industry through meaningful projects and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Implement a community engagement strategy to grow and nurture online communities across platforms like social media, forums, and online groups.
- Actively monitor and respond to community feedback, inquiries, and discussions in a professional and timely manner.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members, influencers, and brand advocates to foster loyalty.
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, polls, contests, and events, to stimulate interaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, customer support, and product development, to gather and share community insights.
- Identify opportunities to showcase user-generated content, testimonials, and case studies.
- Monitor community sentiment and engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and inform future strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to community management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program, or graduation within the past year.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with community members to resolve concerns.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Academic background in Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or Business Administration is preferred.

- Term: July 2026 through December 2026.
- Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada.
- Work Modality: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at our Montréal office.
